Glossybox, October 2013

Oh, how I was pleased by the October Glossybox! This time Glossy was completed by a very young fashion project Byrdie, the creators of which are the indefatigable Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power. In 2006 they started perhaps one of the most famous contemporary online fashion projects WhoWhatWear. It is clear that this cooperation with such "sharks" of the fashion industry has given a huge benefit to Glossybox ;) So, what did I find in my box?

О, как же порадовал меня октябрьский Glossybox! На этот раз Glossy комплектовали коробочку совместно с очень молодым фэшн-проектом Byrdie, создателями которого являются все те же неутомимые Хиллари Керр и Катерин Пауэр, которые еще в 2006г. начали пожалуй один из самых известных на сегодняшний день фешн интернет-проект WhoWhatWear. Очевидно, что сотрудничество с такими "акулами" модной индустрии явно пошло Glossybox на пользу ;) Итак, что я обнаружила в моей коробочке? 

Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream, Fresh

The texture of this cream is incredibly gentle. The smell is almost imperceptible. The cream moisturizes the skin very well without leaving a greasy shine. It is absorbed almost instantly.

Very pleasant to use.

Текстура этого крема невероятно нежная. Запах почти не чувствуется. Крем очень хорошо увлажняет кожу, не оставляя жирного блеска. Впитывается почти мгновенно. 

Очень приятный в использовании.

Eau Parfumee Au The Vert Eau De Cologne, Bvlgari

This fragrance from Bvlgari is a time-honored classic. It has been popular for more than 10 years. This is a unisex fragrance with notes of green tea and citrus. I like this type of clean, fresh smell.

Что касается этого аромата от Булгари, то это уже проверенная временем классика. Этот аромат живет и пользуется популярностью уже 10 лет. Это аромат-унисекс с нотками зеленого чая и цитруса. 

Renu Exfoliating Gel, Sesha

This exfoliating gel with papaya is designed to cleanse the skin very gently. In addition to the papaya cream it contains extracts of cucumber, lemon and aloe. There is no smell.

The texture of the gel is very soft, and it dissolves almost immediately on the skin. When I applied the gel on my skin, small white pellets appeared. Unfortunately, I'm not a chemist and I can't, based on the ingredients of the gel, say what exact reaction takes place, but I had a feeling that those white pellets are nothing like my dead skin cells :)))

By the way, after using this gel my skin does become smoother and more aligned.

Этот отшелушивающий гель с папайей предназначен для очень мягкого очищения кожи. Кроме папайи в состав крема входят экстракты огурца, лимона и алое. Запах практически отсутствует. 
Сама текстура геля очень мягкая, гель почти сразу растворяется на коже, а при его растирании появляются такие маленькие белые катышки. Я, к сожалению, не химик и не могу, основываясь на ингредиентах геля, сказать, что за реакции происходит, но создается полное ощущение, что эти белые катышки не что иное как твои отмершие клетки :))) 
Кожа, кстати, после использования этого геля, действительно становится гладкой и более выровненной.

Shine On Tinted Lip Salve, Balance Me

As you can understand from the name of this item, it is a common chapstick-like product.  Do not be confused by the intense brown color of the tube - in fact this gloss does not have any color on the lips. This color is specified as "super soft beige", but in fact it is just an ordinary transparent shine.

A huge plus of this product is its naturalness. A minus (for me): I love glitters & glosses with brushes for applying, and this application method - straight from the tube to the lips - causes some discomfort for me. Overall it is a nice ordinary gloss, which is pretty good, and it moisturizes my lips.

Как понятно из названия - это обычная гигиеническая помада. И пусть вас не смущает интенсивно-коричневый цвет тюбика - на самом деле на губах никакого цвета не заметно. На самом тюбике указан цвет "super soft beige", но по факту это просто обычный прозрачный блеск. 

Огромный плюс этого продукта - его натуральность. Минус лично для меня - я люблю блески с кисточками и для меня нанесение блеска на губы прямо из тюбика вызывает некоторый дискомфорт. В остальном это обычный блеск, который довольно неплохо справляется с увлажнением губ.

Light, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara, Tarte

This mascara was perhaps the first item from this box which very quickly took a place of pride  on my dressing table among my cosmetics for daily use. Yes, it was love at first ... application.

What I like about this mascara is everything:

• color - deep black
• texture - a very delicate and liquid (I mean, the mascara on the brush is very metered)
• effect - lengthens lashes by about 2-3 mm
• gives volume and shares the lashes
• curls the eyelashes, creating the effect of the wide-open eyes
• does not flake off and stays all day without losing volume

By the way, in spite of its phenomenal stamina, I can easily wash it off using a conventional makeup remover.

Perhaps the only drawback of this mascara I can think of ... super long fibers on its brush. The fact is that in the first week of use I permanently scratched my upper eyelid! But this inconvenience is really a matter of habit, I just need to adapt myself :)

Тушь стала, пожалуй, первым средством из этой коробочки, которое сразу заняла почетное место на моем туалетном столике среди средств для ежедневного использования. Да, это была любовь с первого... нанесения.  

Мне нравится в этой туши абсолютно все: 

• цвет - насыщенный черный
• консистенция - очень деликатная и жидкая (я имею ввиду, что тушь набирается на щеточку очень дозировано)
• удлиняет ресницы примерно на 2-3 мм, 
• придает им объем, при этом разделает реснички 
• подкручивает их, создавая эффект таких распахнутых глаз
• не осыпается и держится весь день без потери объема

Кстати, несмотря на свою феноменальную стойкость, эта тушь смывается обычными средствами для снятия макияжа.

Пожалуй, единственным недостатком этой туши я могу назвать... слишком длинные ворсинки на самой щеточке. Дело в том, что в первую неделю использования я постоянно царапала верхнее веко. Но это неудобство на самом деле вопрос привычки, нужно просто приноровиться :) 

Oh, I almost forgot - this mascara comes with an extra brush. The brush is not a simple ordinary one; it has two sides - black and purple. The black side with more frequent fibers was designed for the application of the required volume of mascara. The purple side with fewer fibers is used for the even distribution of the applied volume, extending and curling the eyelashes. The most interesting thing is that when the brush is full of the mascara, it is impossible to determine which side is which - the entire brush is equally black, and I have to look really closely to see those fiber differences :)))) But still I would give this mascara 5 points out of 5!

Да, чуть не забыла - эта тушь идет в комплекте с дополнительной щеточкой. А щеточка эта не простая, она имеет две стороны - черную и фиолетовую. Черная сторона с более частыми ворсинками предназначена для нанесения необходимого объема туши. Фиолетовая сторона с более редкими ворсинками используется для распределения нанесенного объема, удлинения и подкручивания ресниц. Самое интересное то, что когда на щеточке тушь, невозможно понять, где какая сторона - вся щеточка равномерная черная и нужно приглядываться к самим ворсинкам :)))) 

Но тушь просто на 5 баллов из 5!
